Losing a child leaves an indescribable void in your heart. The longing for one more hug can be overwhelming. While some may dismiss signs as mere figments of a grieving mind, my experiences tell a different story.
From an early age, I felt a connection to the spirit world, influenced by my grandmother, a self-proclaimed gypsy who read tarot and welcomed spirit visits. When she passed, I sensed her presence, which foreshadowed my own profound experiences after losing my daughter, Katie, in a car accident 22 years later.
In a darkened room filled with light, I encountered two figures exuding Katie's familiar scent, reassuring me that she was safe. Since that moment, I've received countless signs from the other side, which I categorize into seven distinct types:
Electricity: Unexpected phone activity or flickering lights when you think of your child.
Fragrance: A sudden, comforting scent that reminds you of your child, appearing in unexpected places.
Creatures: Animals like butterflies or ladybugs showing unusual calmness around you.
Objects: Finding meaningful items like feathers or coins that seem to appear out of nowhere.
Numbers: Repeated numbers in everyday life that hold special significance.
Dreams: Vivid dreams where your child communicates messages or feelings.
Sounds: Songs or ringing in your ears that resonate with memories of your child.
These signs are not mere coincidences; they are connections that affirm your child's presence. If you believe something is a sign, it likely is.
Start documenting your spiritual signs in a journal; they can provide comfort on difficult days.
Wishing you countless signs from your child,
XO, Lisa
